This 17th century Hotel is situated in the heart of the beautiful and historic town of Wotton-under-Edge. Located a short walk from the starting point for Westridge Woods and The Tyndale Monument. Or why not request a Wotton Under Edge Dusk til Dark evening experience. We can also change the meeting point and collect you directly from your accommodation.
If you do not have your own transport, The Swan can also offer guests transfers to the meeting point for all of our guided walk options. Please give them as much notice as possible to book a transfer.
The Swan has recently refurbished elements throughout the hotel including the restaurant, lounge and bar area. There are currently 11 traditional bedrooms, all with ensuite facilities. They offer all of their guests access to free WiFi and are proud to be listed as a dog friendly hotel.
The picturesque Ashen Plains Campsite is situated within easy walking distance of the starting point for Dursley Woods, Waterley Bottom and the Great Brews of Gloucestershire. This walk can also be easily adapted to actually start from the campsite, with us meeting you at your accommodation.
The campsite is situated in stunning grounds. They also have shepherds huts and have a huge barn where private functions can be held.
Nestled in the heart of Wotton-Under-Edge, Chipping House (a beautiful Georgian house) is a great place for groups to stay. Sleeping up to 14, they are also extending to offer accommodation for groups up to 16 people.
