Based in the west of the rolling Cotswold Hills, Cotswold Guided Walks offer fun and informative guided walks suitable for all abilities. Whether your interests lie with nature, local history or the joy of exploring a new area, we hope to offer everyone an enjoyable and memorable experience.
All walks can be muddy underfoot. I recommend a stout pair of walking boots or shoes with a thick pair of socks. If you do not have something suitable, please visit W H Thomas & Son, based in Wotton Under Edge who supply good quality outdoor leisure clothing at fantastic prices.
Muddy boots should be changed for your car/public transport and before returning to your accommodation.
All of our walks offer spectacular views, which will mean climbing some hills, and coming back down again. This will not be a race. Each walk is designed to make sure everybody gets to rest and catch their breath at regular intervals. But to assist I offer the use of walking poles included in the price. Please do not be put off by descriptions that include terms such as steep as this is the Cotswolds and not a mountainous region, so the highest points are approx. 750 feet (235 metres) above sea level, and most uphill sections do not start at sea level! Therefore, some steep sections are a challenge, but most certainly are not insurmountable.
You are welcome to bring your dog with you.
Walks run in most weathers, but if it is going to be terrible weather, the walk will be cancelled as this is about enjoyment and not a trial. Full refunds, or change of date will be offered, unless of course you wish to proceed as planned.
Finishing times indicated are variable.
Gift vouchers are available if you would like to purchase a guided walk as a present.
